Terms of Service

ArcharyaX is an AI-powered study-abroad guidance platform. We help you explore university and course matches, estimate admit chances, identify gaps in your profile, build a personalised roadmap, and track your applications and documents.

ArcharyaX provides informational guidance only. We are not a university, a licensed education consultancy, an immigration adviser, or a guarantee of admission, visa approval, or scholarship. Recommendations and predictions are generated by AI models based on the information you provide and are not a substitute for official guidance from universities, embassies, or qualified counsellors.

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Accounts created by a school or institution on your behalf may have additional access granted to that school's administrators and staff, limited to your journeys and application data within their program.
• You must be old enough to lawfully enter into these terms in your jurisdiction, or have a parent/guardian's consent. ArcharyaX is not intended for children under 13.

You may create or access your ArcharyaX account using Google Sign-In. It is optional — email and password sign-in is always available — and choosing it does not change these terms.

• ArcharyaX requests only the basic openid, email, and profile scopes, and uses them solely to verify your identity and create or link your ArcharyaX account. We request no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service.
• ArcharyaX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Section 3 of our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we receive and store.
• Your use of Google's services remains governed by your agreement with Google. ArcharyaX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, and we are not responsible for the availability of Google Sign-In.
• You can disconnect ArcharyaX from your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If you signed up with Google and have never set a password, set one first via “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen — otherwise revoking leaves you with no way back into your ArcharyaX account.

• Certain AI-powered features (recommendations, gap analysis, roadmap generation, chat) consume credits from your balance.
• Credits can be purchased through Razorpay in the amounts and prices shown at time of purchase. Prices are subject to change going forward.
• Purchased credits are non-transferable and, unless required by law or stated otherwise at the point of sale, non-refundable once used.
• We may adjust credit costs for features, or offer promotional credits, at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use ArcharyaX for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to misrepresent yourself in an application to a third party.
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or documents without authorization.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users, or attempt to circumvent the credit system.
• Upload documents you don't have the right to upload, or content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload or enter into ArcharyaX. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you — generating your recommendations, roadmap, and enabling features like document storage and the AI advisor. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train models on other users' behalf.

Recommendations, predictions, roadmaps, and chat responses are generated by AI based on the information available to it at the time, and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Always verify critical details — deadlines, eligibility criteria, fees, and visa requirements — directly with the relevant university, exam body, or government source before relying on them for a decision.

ArcharyaX, its branding, design, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.

ArcharyaX is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee admission outcomes, scholarship eligibility, visa approval, or the accuracy of AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcharyaX and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on its recommendations.

You may stop using ArcharyaX and delete your account at any time — see section 10 of our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or where required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.

We may update these terms as ArcharyaX evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated on this page. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by the law of your jurisdiction.
